Sustainable Futures Grants
Our award-winning grants program has helped schools, early learning centres and NFP community organisations fund sustainability projects.
Tradies Sustainable Futures Grants started in 2014 to help promote environmental change and sustainable development in and beyond our community.
To date, we have received over 746 applications and provided $285,447 to help fund sustainability projects across Australia including bushland regeneration, school vegetable gardens, composting programs, sustainable irrigation systems, solar panels and energy efficiency initiatives.

Thank you to the sustainability experts from Rana Environmental, Symbio Wildlife Park, Sustainable Organisations Sutherland Shire and Power Waste Management who kindly donate their time and expertise to assess each application with Tradies own Green Team.
Jannali Preschool goes solar!
Jannali Preschool received a $10,000 grant in 2023 to install solar on their roof. They now run their preschool (air conditioning, lighting, appliances and hot water) off the solar power they produce. Not only have they drastically reduced their carbon footprint but also their bills have dropped by an impressive 89%!
Corowa Public School optimises waste management!
Using the compost tumbler purchased with their Sustainable Futures Grant, Cowora students are transforming leftover waste and garden refuse into rich, nutrient-dense compost. They have learnt that the sustainable practices through this project are helping to stop methane gases which affects air quality and contributes to climate change.
